Japanese mixed martial arts fighter and top professional wrestler
Enters the New Japan Pro-Wrestling association at the age of 16.
He soon becomes famous as partner of the legendary wrestler, Antonio Inoki.
With his handsome looks and powerful play styles, he captures the hearts of many wrestling fans.
He later entered the world of mixed martial arts by joining PRIDE Fighting Championships.
Takada is recognized as the pioneer of mixed martial fights, and creating a great sensation in the world.
After retiring from the ring, he becomes a big star in the entertainment industry. As people now say, "there isn't a day when Takada doesn't appear on TV", he appears on numerous TV shows, from sports programs to the comical variety shows. He even stars in the popular national broadcast series, NHK Taiga Drama, and is highly recognized as an actor as well.
In his private life, he is an ideal father of 5 year old twins; he is often praised as a role model for today’s father.
