Yuji was born & raised in a star family, between a former Hollywood actor father, and a mother who used to be a top international model. He debuted in 2002, and started his career as a child model. In recent years, he has expanded his career to TV performances, and attracts many fans with his humorous and friendly personality. He also hosts in one of NHK’s TV program, Imagine-nation as an English speaking reporter. He has been successful as an actor, performing in dozens of movies, including Akarui Mirai, Rookies, and TV dramas such as Gokusen, Gira Gira, and Nobuta no Produce. Aside from acting and performing in TV, he is still well known as an official model for the best selling men’s fashion magazine, FINEBOYS.
